Simplink lets you use your LG magic remote to control other simplink enabled devices like a
DVD player or audio home theater, that are connected to your LG Smart tv bu using HDMI.

If you want to use various types of the multimedia devices, then you can use the
simplink for controlling and use devices connected by using HDMI with your tv remote
control.

How to use Simplink on LG TV

  1. First, you need to connect your simplink HDMI output port to your LG smart tv’s HDMI port
    with help of the HDMI cable.
  2. After that, take your remote control and press on the Home icon button and select the more button (It is showing 3 vertical dots at the top right of your screen).
  3. After that, goto on General option and select the SIMPLINK option.
  4. After that, turn on the Simplink by seting ON.
  5. After that, you can set your Auto Power sync settings ON or OFF as per your requriment. (If you set Auto Power sync setting ON mode, then your Simplink device turn on automatically when you will start your LG smart tv and turn off when you will trun off your tv)
  6. After that, you need turn on your device which you want to connected to lg tv, then input will change. If it is not connected automatically, then you need to click on the input button.

Note: Makesure below points if your device not connected to tv.

  • Simplink feature works only simplink enabled external devices. You can check simplink logo on your devices otherwise your device specification not meet the requirements.
  • You need to use the High speed HDMI cable with CEC. It is help to provide the high speed  data transfer between devices.

Supported function of Simplink

Power Off

If Auto power sync is set ON mode, then your simplink linked devices will trun off when your LG tv will turn off.

Power ON

All devices will trun on when your tv will trun on if your Auto power sync mode set ON.

Instant Play

You can watch your video and shows from your simplink linked devices on your LG TV without any control.

Control devices with TV Remote

You can controlling your multimedia devices with your LG TV remote control for watching  your content.
